Head on over to the BX Press Cidery, just off of BX Road.  A spontaneous and historical outing that serves up cider on the side. The BX Press Cidery’s farm is rich in history, located in the Vernon’s BX farm area where the Bernard Express-owned, BX Ranch, was famous for horse breeding. A portion of the 6,000 acres of ranchland is now a 3rd generation apple orchard – perfect for cider! Created from 24 varieties of apples; Their “Character Series” ciders tell the story of the Barnard’s Express through authentic, whimsical depictions of historic ‘old west’ characters. While the ciders can be enjoyed anywhere, the stories are best experienced at their tasting room every half-hour during the summer! But do not fret! Their tasting room is open year round to tell you how they produce their wide variety of ciders; 7 days a week until mid-October 2018, reducing to three days a week for the winter season!
